COLT SONIC – Acoustic End-Button for Cello, developed by FASTER, incorporates an elaborate, compact and complex design that enhances the sound and timbral quality of the cello in addition to increased harmonics and ease of acoustic emission.
COLT SONIC works on the cello as an “all-in-one”: Inhibits the dispersion of vibrations, enhances the radiated energy, amplifies sound production and distributes and organizes the frequency spectrum.
COLT SONIC – Acoustic Cello End-Button reproduces the vibrations of the cello’s lower body and other adjacent parts, generating a remarkable amount of acoustic power and contributing to the growth of harmonics that are reinforced by increasing the sound intensity.
It inhibits the dispersion of vibrations, avoiding the loss of a large part of the energy acoustic produced by the cello as well as the transfer of unwanted frequencies and transmits the recovered energy acting as a passive amplifier through the cello endpin.
COLT SONIC is the ideal complement to the FASTER Artica, Dorna or Meiga Acoustic Endpin for Cello and BELTON Acoustic Stoppers. The combination of these three elements undoubtedly offers a vast amount of quality sound and a greater ease to execution.
When installing your COLT SONIC on a different cello, simply purchase a replacement COLT Cone, adapt it to the new instrument, and fit your COLT SONIC in.

For a long time I have been searching for a perfect endpin to match the fine sound of the old and precious English cello I’m playing. Ever again without it!
What difference can an endpin make? To me they all sounded quite similar. Of course a massive steel or titanium endpin was different from carbon but it didnt really change a lot.
This one though blows my mind!
I have no idea why it can work like that, but the cello just got a 2 level upgrade – yay!
This FASTER Artica endpin really has changed the sound and playability of my cello A LOT!
For some reason that I dont understand yet it makes my cello – play easier – resonate way (!) better – have more bass – have more overtones – have more direct attack.
What else would you want from an upgrade?? And this one is no mini dose like many other upgrades I‘ve done and tried.
Now you would assume its connected to the vibration transmission from instrument to the ground. Wrong. Theres also a end-button for violas and violins and the effect is just the same! I just don‘t get it!

Just a few days ago we installed your revolutionary “FASTER” system with an Artica 600 Titanium end pin, a Colt Duo Silver acoustic button and a Belton Solo Acoustic end pin Stopper on my Contreras cello and I have to say that the result is simply overwhelming.
Throughout my career I have avoided inventions that promised to increase the volume of the sound since in the vast majority of cases this increase was produced at the cost of sacrificing sound quality. I recently had the good fortune to discover the “Faster” violin button resonators. Some of the violins I have installed them in: Stradivari , Gagliano, Guarnari, Bergonzi great modern violins and more. No matter how good the violins sounded to start out there was a clearly discernible improvement in the ringing and freedom of the sound of all of them. More power, not tighter but looser. In addition it removed entirely or greatly improved wolf’s if there were any and increased the sensitivity of response! We have also found it to increase the power in the concert hall. Fitting the FASTER Pro – Silver to my Guadagnini was like unlocking a hidden chamber in the violin’s voice. The moment I drew the bow, it was as if the instrument exhaled a richer, more nuanced breath: every note shimmered with crystalline overtones that seemed to float above the air.
