Meiga 600 - Titanium - Cello Acoustic Endpin
Enveloping and open Sound
FASTER Meiga 600 Titanium Acoustic Endpin is a high-performance cello endpin that produces excellent enveloping and open sound quality and designed following complex parameters completely different from the acoustic cello endpins existing in the market. Its operation is based on diverse concepts of applied aerodynamics with which exceptional sound results have been obtained in concert halls, cello solo recitals, cello and piano recitals, chamber music and recordings.
FASTER’s acoustic end pins are made, assembled, and calibrated by hand. This process requires six hours of highly specialized craftsmanship to deliver exceptional acoustic results.
The objective of FASTER Meiga and its main function is to eliminate part of the residual air that is constantly generated inside the cello and that, in turn, cannot be completely released from the resonance chamber through the f-holes, causing the incomplete production of harmonics.
FASTER Meiga Titanium Endpin has been tested with excellent results on numerous fine cellos. It increases volume, harmonics production, sound projection, tone quality, ease of performance, and the lifetime of the strings. It also, in most cases it reduces wolf tones and in specific cases it helps to eliminate it, and provides other nice features that will undoubtedly make your life easier, at least, when performing.
The relevant acoustic virtues of FASTER Meiga 600 Titanium Acoustic Endpin, its elegant and careful design, as well as the selection of exclusive materials and its high standard of manufacturing make this set an appreciated object of desire for any player. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Total length & weight: 62cm – 191 ( ±2 ) gr.
Tube diameter: OD 10mm
Hollow capsule: made of naval brass, with two perforations at an angle of 45° whose intersectionforms a triangle that fulfills the role of air diffuser.
Over time, the hollow capsule will lose its shine and color due to contact with hands and air. To restore its original condition, it is necessary to polish it with a metal cleaner.
Hardened tungsten carbide tip: ready to be fixed on all surfaces. However, being a material almost as hard as diamond, it can fracture with a blow. Under normal use conditions, its performance will be effective for many years.
Titanium endpin tube: manufactured aerospace titanium, constituted by a cooper alloy inner core and by three copper capillary tubes which act as air exchanger compressors.
To prevent the buildup of grease from your hands and dirt, it is advisable to clean the titanium tube from time to time with alcohol.
VERY IMPORTANT:
To achieve optimal acoustic performance, the black dot and the endpin logo must be placed in the front position.

Cello Solist.
The FASTER Artica 600 Silver and Meiga Titanium endpins are remarkable invention by Maestro José María Lozano.
The craftsmanship in these is immaculate and I’ve noticed a considerable boost in projection, harmonics and overall sound quality by using these two endpins on my cellos.
The Belton acoustic stoppers are the cherry on top when paired with the endpins!
Thak you, Maestro!
